Spanish school in La Carihuela, Torremolinos

Since 1993, more than 5,000 students have learned at our language school in Torremolinos. We are a family-run school with small groups and qualified teachers: Spanish for foreigners, English and French, official exams, and drawing, painting and music.

A family-run language school since 1993

Idea Aladino is a family-run school that opened its doors in 1993 in La Carihuela, Torremolinos. Since then, more than 5,000 students of all ages have come through our classrooms.

Our teachers are qualified, speak three languages and have years of experience creating a warm, friendly atmosphere for learning languages and art. Groups have 5 to 15 students and are organised by age and level.

We are a school approved by the Andalusian regional government (Junta de Andalucía) and we prepare students for the official Cambridge, DELE and DELF exams.

Our courses in Torremolinos

Spanish lessons for foreigners

For people who live on the Costa del Sol or spend long stays here. Small groups, levels A1-C2 and plenty of conversation.

English classes

English for children from age 6, teenagers and adults. Groups by age and level, conversation, school support and Cambridge preparation.

Intensive Spanish course

15 lessons a week for 1 to 8 weeks to make fast progress, from A1 to C2. You start with a level test beforehand.

French classes

French for children, teenagers and adults, from A1 to C2. In small groups or private lessons, with DELF preparation.

DELE, Cambridge and DELF

Preparation for the DELE (A1-C2), Cambridge (B1 Preliminary, B2 First and C1 Advanced) and DELF (A1-B2), with mock exams and small groups.

Private lessons

One-to-one Spanish, English or French lessons built around your level and goals: conversation, exams, work or school support.

A school that feels like a community

Lessons combine grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, songs and, above all, conversation.

Between classes there is a café and a lending library. Dogs are welcome and the building is accessible, with adapted toilets.

In La Carihuela, next door to Benalmádena

You will find us at Av. Carlota Alessandri, 51 (29620 Torremolinos). Students come to our Spanish and language school from all over Torremolinos, as well as Benalmádena, Arroyo de la Miel, Churriana and Alhaurín de la Torre.

From 1 July to 15 September, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Closed from 23 December to 6 January and during Easter Week.

Frequently asked questions

Can I start at any time of year?

Yes. You take a short level test, at the school or by email, and we place you in the right group.

What age do you teach from?

From age 6: primary and secondary pupils, university students and adults. We also work with companies.

What if I need to take a break for a few weeks?

You can pause whenever you need to: we keep your course for up to a year so you can pick up where you left off.

Are you an official Cambridge or DELE exam centre?

No. We prepare students for Cambridge, DELE and DELF exams; the exam itself is taken at an official centre.
